Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Prepare/revise/finalize correspondence and documents ie: drafting of simple pleadings, discovery, complaints and settlement distributions. Mediation, arbitration and trial preparation. Scheduling of case events as it pertains to discovery and case management including depositions, hearings and meditations. Maintain Attorneys calendar with direction of Attorney. Schedule client meetings and communicate with clients as necessary. Maintain electronic client files. Run conflict checks, open new client matters in practice management system. This job description can be assigned or reassigned job duties at any time. Qualifications: Must be able to take direction and work independently. Ability to work in a fast paced environment by organizing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks on a daily basis. Excellent word processing and proof reading skills. Excellent administrative and legal skills, professional, well organized, a self - starter, detail oriented, have the ability to multi - task in a high activity environment, be able to prioritize assignments, and work well under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience as a litigation paralegal and use of practice management systems is a plus. Should have 5+ years of PQE.
