Title : First Legal Associate Attorney

First Legal Associate Attorney Candidate will work with the first legal and title department paralegals and processors to ensure timely processing and filing of complaints. Will also be responsible for review of referral packages, title exams and confirming compliance with any/all pre-suit requirements. Will handle drafting any necessary motions and/or memoranda associated as well as directing staff on resolution strategy. Court appearances may be required - telephonic or in-person. Manage large portfolio of foreclosure cases; Review, analyze, and resolve motions and direct staff on resolution strategy; Draft pleadings, motions, and responses as they relate to title and first legal; Draft proposed orders; Regularly communicate with clients on issues that may affect a foreclosure and provide analysis, outline proposed strategies for resolving, and indicate risks that client should consider. Requirements: JD Degree. Minimum Florida Bar in good standing. 1-3 years' practice of law, with 1 year in foreclosure. Title experience are preferred. Post-judgment litigation experience a plus. General knowledge of Title as it relates to the foreclosure process. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel. Knowledge of the foreclosure process, particularly the title and pre-suit compliance portions of a foreclosure. Must be an organized and motivated attorney that can handle issues as they arise; sometimes on urgent or emergency basis.
