Paralegal - Project Finance Duties: Performing a range of substantive case, matter or entity related duties by supporting efforts between attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, other parties, and outside vendors. Will be responsible for includes preparing and filing legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, annual reports, managing data rooms and matter files, coordinating execution and delivery of documentation to other parties counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc., including all closing documentation. You will also develop, monitor and update closing and other checklists.
Requirements: College degree and/or Paralegal certificate. 3 years experience in a law firm setting supporting a Project Finance practice group. Experience preparing and filing a variety of corporate legal documents (Articles of Incorporation/Organization, Amendments, state qualifications, consents, merger documents, closing books, electronic closing sets, initial drafts or certificates, short-form closing deliverables, and filing annual reports). Experience managing data rooms and matter files on document management systems. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Detail-oriented and self-motivated. Preferred: Legal software. Large firm experience.
