Associate Responsibilities: Assist with the defense of agency charges of discrimination, lawsuits involving a broad range of labor and employment related claims and advice and counseling involving similar issues; Depending on level of experience, the associate will interview witnesses, prepare witnesses for testimony, conduct depositions, and attend hearings; Advise and train employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations; Conduct legal research and effectively and persuasively write briefs and motions in all phases of litigation, and Cultivate productive and effective relationships with clients. Qualifications: Florida Bar member. 1-3 years of experience in employment law. Traditional Labor experience is a plus. Strong Familiarity with Federal and State Rules of Civil Procedure. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Must possess top academic credentials, strong legal research, writing and analytical skills. Must have a thorough understanding of civil litigation procedures and experience working on litigation matters. Must also exhibit strong organizational, time management, and project management skills and be able to communicate and interact well with clients and opposing counsel.
