Paralegal - Insurance Defense The candidate will assist in the preparation of pleadings including answers to complaints, motions, etc. Will be preparing and monitoring the case calendar, adhering to compliance deadlines for multiple clients. Reviewing medical records and preparing summaries. Preparing settlement forms, sending out settlement packages, sending out checks and updating settlement charts. Ability to track and meet deadlines. Should have 3+ years of law firm experience. Prior insurance defense litigation and managing asbestos or mass tort litigation experience a plus. Applicants with a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, document management software and Nuance is required.
