Litigation Paralegal The candidate assists with substantive legal work for which an attorney is responsible, and the day-to-day needs of the attorney(s) assigned to. Communicate with attorneys and/or client to take instructions, obtain information, report on status of matters and otherwise support legal actions. Must work with attorneys to draft and prepare all legal documentation, organize, maintain, review, summarize, and analyze documents and records, compile information, and recommend course of action, be familiar with locating and obtaining Circuit and Magistrate Court records, maintain knowledge of statutes, count decisions and customs relating to legal procedures and practices, conduct investigations as necessary, and other duties as assigned. Must have Business Litigation and/or Energy Litigation experience. Prior law firm experience is preferred. Must have Business Litigation and/or Energy Litigation experience. Bachelor's degree, advanced paralegal certificate, or relevant job experience required. Must have the ability to perform legal research, interview witnesses, posses organization skills, analyze legal documents for accuracy, and have in-depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
