Paralegal - Medical Malpractice Responsibilities: Research legal, medical, social Be involved in all aspects of case from inception to trial, including: Reviewing incoming discovery and preparation of summaries; Identifying medical providers, collection and organization of records; Reviewing and summarizing of medical and other records obtained; Drafting of initial discovery responses for attorney review; Assist in preparation for trial. Qualifications: Associate s Degree in Paralegal Studies; experience working in medical malpractice, preferably defense litigation; Knowledgeable about State and Federal Court rules; Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.); Familiar with WestlawNext and/or LexisNexis Advance Other technical ability is a bonus.
