Corporate Immigration Attorney The candidate will work on all immigrant and non-immigrant visa matters including but not limited to Nonimmigrant petitions for H-1B, E-1, E-2, E-3, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, H-3 and TN; J-1 waivers, I-140s for EB-1 Multi-National Managers and Executives, EB-1 Outstanding Researchers and Professors, EB-1 Aliens with Extraordinary Ability; I-140s for EB-2s based on National Interest Waiver or PERM; PERM-based EB-3s; PERM labor certification applications, Permits to Reenter; Consular processing for nonimmigrant and immigrants visas; Naturalization applications; and I-485 applications. Draft responses to complex RFEs, NOIDs, audits, and appeals. Analyze facts to determine issues and solutions and ability to explain complex immigration options and concepts to clients. Assist clients with I-9 and LCA compliance issues. The candidate must have 2 years of Employment/Business based-immigration experience to work in Labor and Employment Practice Group. Exceptional research and writing abilities and analytical skills required. Academic credentials will be weighed along with other indicators of ability, motivation and initiative. Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills, have a strong desire and ability to adapt well to a fast-paced environment, and the ability to effectively handle high volume of cases. Must be admitted to practice in Minnesota or any other state.
