Workers Compensation Paralegal Responsibilities: The candidate will conduct research to support legal proceedings. Should assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Should investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information. Requirements : The candidate must be organized and detail oriented. Should have 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in the workers compensation industry. Must have strong computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Client Profiles/Aderant, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Experience. Should have excellent oral, written communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills. Must have experience in drafting medical record summaries, discovery summaries, RTP, subpoenas, preparing trial notebooks, trial prep, and settlement documents. Should establish and maintain tracking, calendaring and filing system for legal activities and scheduling. Should provide support to Counsel for legal issues that arise including, but not limited to, performing fact research, creating chronologies, pulling documents, preparing summaries or other assigned tasks associated with case management. Exercise impeccable judgment, discretion, respect and integrity. Must be organized with a strong attention to detail.
