Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will be assisting the attorneys with the preparation and recording of conveyancing and loan documentation, real estate title and tax research, and other transactional tasks. Will be preparing deeds, loan documents, Land Court petitions and other conveyancing documents. Recording and filing documents with the Bureau of Conveyances and Land Court. Ordering and reviewing title searches. Researching Bureau of Conveyances, Land Court, and other real estate-related records. Completing forms for recording, tax filings, and transaction closings. Assisting the firm s attorneys and staff with miscellaneous tasks. The candidate must have 2+ years of experience working in a law firm or similar environment. Experience working on Hawaii real estate transactions and working with conveyancing documents essential. Familiarity with Bureau of Conveyances and Land Court rules and procedures needed. Experience reviewing title reports and familiarity with escrow process. Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook essential. Good verbal communication and writing skills needed. Typing skills of 50 wpm skills needed. Must preferably have 1+ year of experience as a real estate legal assistant, paralegal, or equivalent experience in title, escrow, or banking industries.
