Patent Attorney - Mechanical Arts The candidate s responsibilities may include drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, drafting and reviewing intellectual property and technology related agreements and licenses, and providing patentability, freedom to operate, and due diligence assessments. Should have a Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar engineering degree and/or work experience, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office registration. Should have 1-3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution in the mechanical arts. Experience in agreement work is a plus. Exceptional academic performance and excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills are required.
