Immigration Paralegal The candidate will prepare folders and files for clients and court; Familiar with legal terminology in immigration practice; Legal documentation preparation particularly immigration documents; Ability to juggle and multi task and not lose track of multiple schedules and assignment; Will have contact with clients; Able to do client intake translate and interpret in Spanish; Must write and speak fluent Spanish; Ability to anticipate tasks and how to do them; Self-confidence, sensitivity, and cooperative attitude; Draft and edit correspondence with precision; Excellent and professional communication skills; Ability to manage multiple immigration cases including removal defense cases and bond documents. Analyze and prepare correspondence, trial exhibits, electronic, court copies and witness testimony. Familiar with EOIR/Immigration Court processes and methods/USCIS/Consular process, Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF; Must be able to work well under pressure; Be familiar with EOIR/Immigration Court procedures; be familiar with family based immigration law practice; be familiar with removal defense /asylum applications; Good attendance, punctuality, and ability to work long hours as needed.
