Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be joining a national labor and employment law firm. Provide quality and specialized document preparation, and has extensive client contact. Interface with clients in a professional manner, providing excellent client service. Draft H-1Bs and other non-immigrant petitions, I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status applications, and labor certification applications. Handle multiple priorities and work well independently and as a part of a team. Maintain an exceptional client service attitude and professional demeanor at all times. Show initiative, flexibility, resilience, and a willingness to adapt to change. Take ownership and gets the job done without the need for prodding. Maintain a positive, attitude when dealing with clients, co-workers and attorneys. Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork and collegiality. Will work collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented Immigration department. The candidate must have 1+ years of working experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant in a fast-paced law firm or business environment. Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and a case management system are required. Outstanding case management and organizational skills along with strong communication and business writing skill are needed.
