Attorney - Defense Litigation The candidate will support the Medical Life and Sciences team in defending physicians, hospitals and health centers in medical malpractice cases. Taking and defending depositions on a regular basis. Research various issues and collaborate with senior attorneys about strategies. Draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, etc. Participate in trial/ADR planning and preparation. Represent clients at courtroom appearances. The candidate should be admitted in New York. 2+ years of deposition and courtroom experience in Medical Malpractice matters required. Must have familiarity and experience with NY Courts. Excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills required.
