Staff Attorney The candidate is responsible to support several attorneys in both the litigation and labor and employment practice groups. Manage discovery requests and responses; draft motions, research memoranda and correspondence. Provide high level counsel to clients on employment law compliance issues. Must be admitted to a US state barand be in good standing. Admission to the California Bar is expected. 3 years of general litigation and labor and employment experience is needed. Class Action experience (specifically wage and hour class action experience) is critical. Experience with harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims and investigations is essential. Strong client advice and counsel experience is must. Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters on a day-to-day basis, argue substantive briefs and motions and take depositions with limited supervision is required. Superior research and analytical abilities are needed. Excellent written and verbal skills are required.
