Litigation Paralegal The candidate will hit the ground running has an eye for detail and teamwork and ability to thrive in stressful litigation situations. Will also be fun to work with, able to roll with the punches, juggle a case load, including the drafting of discovery, liens, settlement packages and regular correspondence. Must have Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program. Should have 3+ years experience with a plaintiff's personal injury firm and Demonstrated experience independently managing a case load. Must have proficient knowledge of state and federal civil procedure, including electronic filing procedures (CM/ECF, PACER, etc.). Should possess a broad understanding of medical terminology for analyzing medical records and ability to preparing chronologies. Must demonstrate excellent writing skills for drafting various legal documents, including settlement brochures, pleadings, motions and written discovery. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office, MAC operating system and legal case management systems. Should have experience managing liens and subrogation matters.
