Litigation Paralegal-Personal Injury The candidate will handle client interaction by telephone, mail and in person. Draft various pleadings, motions, correspondence and other documents. Prepare and respond to discovery. Review and summarize medical records. Prepare litigation attorney for depositions, mediations and arbitrations. Assist with trial preparation including jury instructions, trial exhibits, Subpoenas, etc. Manage Court dockets. Draft settlement calculations and agreements. Other administrative duties such as organizing case files, calendaring hearings, filing, etc. High School diploma required. 3-5 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience required. Working knowledge of motions, discovery, litigation documents, court practices, etc. required. Experience with Needles case management/document management software preferred. Strong written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills required. Ability: to handle a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment with numerous deadlines; to prioritize tasks in order of importance required. Thorough understanding of all aspects of litigation, preferably personal injury, including knowledge of local rules and NC Rules of Civil Procedure required. Superior attention to detail is extremely important for this position.
