Staff Attorney The candidate should have 2+ years of general litigation experience to work with Occupational Exposure Toxic Tort Practice Group. This position involves all facets and phases of litigation, with an emphasis on asbestos litigation. Responsibilities include: case assessment and investigation; drafting pleadings and motions; drafting and responding to discovery; taking and defending depositions; trial work-up and preparation and collaboration with other attorneys and members of the practice group. Should have excellent academic credentials and writing skills, as well as possess strong listening skills. Must demonstrate the ability and the desire to interact directly with clients. A current Louisiana law license and professional references are required.
