Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be ensuring each matter is progressing toward a timely resolution and in compliance with statutory and client requirements. Handling general client communication and responding to status inquiries. Preparing pleadings, including motion practice and discovery work for litigated matters. Monitoring and updating of lender/servicer websites to ensure compliance. Must have an Associate's degree in paralegal studies and/or certificate in paralegal studies is preferred. Previous litigation experience of 2+ years is required. Experience with RI & MA e-filing procedures is preferred. Must be well versed in civil procedure and be able to learn and understand the rules of all six New England States. Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills verbally and through written electronic correspondence are required. Strong organizational skills with advanced problem solving with the ability to multitask and detail-oriented skills are required. The ability to read legal terms and conditions and understand their meaning and how it applies to work processes is required. Must be highly confidential to protect the client's privacy rights. Should be a team player, capable of working independently, and be able to prioritize multiple deadlines. Proficiency in the various client systems- LPS, Lenstar, Vendorscape, etc is required.
