Legal Secretary for Estate Planning Department The candidate will be maintaining attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, expense reports, check requests, and coordinating client file maintenance. Must have 5 years as a secretary in a law firm supporting multiple attorneys. Must have extensive calendaring, high-level organizational skills, out-of-the-box thinking, always be one-step-ahead, and build a great rapport and relationships with clients. Must be accurate, attentive to detail, able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must have advanced knowledge of MS Word with the ability to create and edit correspondence, briefs, pleadings, trust administration, probate, and preparation of estate planning documents and other legal documents. Must be proficient at e-filing and know Federal and State court rules. Must have familiarity with utilizing a document management system such as NetDocs is ideal. Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are imperative.
