Criminal Defense Attorney The candidate should have Undergraduate and J.D. Degree. Must have experience in municipal and state court representing (or prosecuting) defendants charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes. Experience in private practice a plus. Must be actively licensed in good standing to practice law in Kansas. Must be willing to travel for court hearings in Sedgwick County and surrounding jurisdictions. Must be able to successfully manage significant case load of clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies. Must be able to support practice group through research and writing assignments and collaboration with other offices on shared matters. Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating strong research and writing skills.
