Senior Trial Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to assist attorneys with all phases of a trial. Provide case management support for complex litigation cases and arbitration proceedings. Draft various pleadings, such as evidentiary declarations in support of motions. Assist with document reviews, database management, and document productions. Prepare pleadings for electronic filing and may electronically file pleadings. Assist with preparation for hearings and depositions, including assembling binders and witness kits, and compiling deposition exhibits. Assist with cite-checking/fact-checking briefs. The candidate must have Bachelor's degree, a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program is preferable. At least 10 years of firm equivalent paralegal experience is required. Significant substantive working knowledge of the procedures, terminology and documents relating to complex litigation matters; high degree of specialization in areas of expertise is required. Deep experience with the rules and procedures of California state and federal courts is critical. Should have working knowledge of E-Discovery procedures. Strong organization, verbal and written communication skills are essential. Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and any practice related software, such as document review platforms are must.
