Junior Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work under the supervision of the attorneys in the US Litigation and US Business Immigration Groups and assist with a wide variety of interesting tasks and assignments. Collect, organize, and manage information and documents, including filing, scanning, printing, labelling, archiving, and destroying documents. Update and maintain client files and databases, review and update calendars, schedule calls and meetings. Proofread, edit, cite and fact check documents and correspondence; file documents electronically with the court or for sending to clients, government entities, vendors, and other law firms. Provide logistical support for depositions, hearings, trials, client meetings, and other events. Perform legal research and fact investigations; check citations in briefs, memoranda, and articles. Manage the discovery phase of litigation by reviewing and preparing documents for production, managing databases, and coordinating with technical support and vendors. Conduct oneself with professionalism at all times, both internally with other firm professionals and externally with clients, court officials, and vendors. Assist with other administrative tasks as required. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Must be exceptionally well-organized and detail-oriented and have very strong technology skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work under the supervision of several attorneys required. Able to prioritize workload in order to meet important deadlines and expectations and work well under pressure.
