Litigation Attorney The candidate will manage a large case load from case inception to post-trial. Prepare for hearings related to probate, real estate, and family law proceedings on a weekly basis. Independently prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Conduct legal research with little or no assistance. Maintain professional communication with clients on a regularly basis. Manage priorities and workflow. E-portal filing. Familiar with various county requirements. Must be member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar. Must have a JD Degree from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar with no bar complaints or discipline record. Should have 2+ years of litigation experience (Probate Litigation, Guardianship Litigation and Trust Administration Litigation is a plus). Must have a working knowledge of the litigation process and should be able to spot errors when reviewing documents as well as properly advising clients regarding the actions for their case. Will possess knowledge/experience in the following areas: Will Contest/Objecting to the Appointment of Personal Representative; Power of Attorney Contest; Voluntary and Involuntary Guardianship Proceedings; Divorce/Child Custody & Support Actions; Contempt Proceedings; Partition Suits; Quiet Title Actions; Foreclosure and Tax Deed Sales; Evictions.
