Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to handle files from intake through trial to include: drafting pre-litigation demands for the insurance carriers, preparing and filing complaint, trial. Manage clients' treatment and communicate with providers during the treatment process. Analyze medical records and draft demand letters fast and effectively. Drafting and filing pre-litigation demand, complaints and related paperwork. All aspects of discovery and maintaining litigation calendar and scheduling. Assisting with arbitration, mediation and trial preparation. Assist other team members on an as needed basis with: Case management overflow; New Client Intake overflow and other office tasks. The candidate must have minimum 3+ years of California plaintiffs personal injury litigation experience. Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to think on your feet are needed. Demonstrated substantive and procedural knowledge of plaintiffs personal injury practice is required. Ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis is necessary. A paralegal degree and/or a bachelor' degree is essential. A high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion is critical. Ability to resolve conflicts and empathize with clients is critical. High level organization and time management skills are must. Ability to accomplish results and meet goals is needed. Self-management skills and the ability to hit the ground running is necessary. Attention to detail is must.
