Litigation Legal Secretary DUTIES: Formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics; assist with trial exhibits, prepare documents for production, etc. Handle and route correspondence, reports and legal documents; draft basic letters and documents; coordinate client conferences, and attorney meetings; schedule couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and other special functions. Schedule travel; record and monitor court appearance dates, pleadings, and filing requirements. The candidate must have 4 years of experience and extensive experience with litigation tasks, including: court filings, document production, communicating with clients and attorneys, drafting legal correspondence, memos, subpoenas, etc. Preferred proficiency in litigation management systems including Case Logistix and Case Notebook. Must be detail oriented and must have follow-through.
