Litigation Paralegal The candidate will conduct interviews, legal research, document filing, and attend trials. Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, schedule depositions, etc). Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Gather relevant information and documents from a variety of sources. Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties. Provide assistance with case settlements. The candidate must have an Associate's degree or other relevant certification with 5 years of experience, preferably in litigation with thorough knowledge of the litigation process from initial pleading through trial work; proven working experience as a Litigation Paralegal; apply knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices, etc; thorough knowledge of preparing subpoenas, processing discovery, and preparing for trial; strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail; exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently; extensive computer and database expertise.
