Real Estate Litigation Attorney The candidate must have 2+ years experience. Should be currently licensed in the District of Columbia. In addition, a license in Virginia or Maryland is a significant plus. Must have experience litigating real estate disputes, including landlord-tenant matters (commercial and residential), drafting complaints and default notices, contract disputes and construction disputes, and experience with the administrative hearing process. Additional experience in fair housing, commercial bankruptcy (creditor side), tax sales and foreclosures is a plus. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters and possess a drive for excellence and willingness to take initiative to solve problems. Strong writing credentials and excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
