Paralegal - Banking - Projects This candidate' will be a reliable point of contact, as it relates to the partners and associates. Support function is crucial to the day-to-day success of the business and this individual will play an essential part in this model. Responsibilities; Assist attorneys on a vast array of projects and tasks, which may include, but are not limited to, the following: Working on pro bono matters as opportunities become available. Interacting with service providers to submit filings and order documents; and, writing brief summaries on relevant topics or findings from legal research; Conducting in-depth legal research on domestic and international topics; Drafting client-facing memos and presentations on a variety of topics; Conducting limited quality control/proofing of documents; Drafting certificates and corporate resolutions, and other related documents; Assisting with closings and the preparation of closing sets to be sent to the client and other parties; Participating in due diligence investigations by reviewing documents and providing organizational assistance; Should have strong Word, Excel, and PDF skills. Must have excellent organizational, communication, research, time management, and writing skills. Experience with due diligence reviews. Should have experience with drafting ancillary documents under attorney supervision, as well as, proofreading and revising principle transaction documents, required. Experience with handling a closing from inception to post-closing, as well as, handling of general corporate transactional paralegal responsibilities, required; Demonstrated interest in the PENRI space preferred, but not required. Should have 3-5 years of prior relevant paralegal or similar role experience; experience in banking practice and generally diverse general corporate transactional exposure; Four-year bachelor's degree with strong academic background; Familiarity with iManage or a similar tool, preferred.
