Personal Injury Attorney Responsibilities: Pre-litigation work up of an assigned docket of personal injury cases. Assist with case evaluation, screening as well as telephone, in office, and in-person intake and sign up of potential new clients. Actively manage and follow up on medical care of clients. Maintain contact with clients on a regular basis to ensure proper recovery. Assist and support the intake department in answering potential client questions, addressing concerns. Assist with pre-litigation management, demand prep and reviews, pre-litigation negotiation. Qualifications: JD Degree. Texas State Bar licensed. 6 months Plaintiffs personal injury experience (automobile, trucking, and premises liability cases.). Note that this experience can be during or prior to law school. Preferred: Experience with Needles case management software. Bilingual Spanish and English. Willing to cover evening/weekend shifts are giving a high hiring preference. Must have demonstrated negotiation experience. Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude. Solid knowledge of current Texas personal injury law, including causes of action, liability issues, damage elements, etc. Excellent legal research, written and verbal communication skills.
