Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant The candidate will provides administrative support to Attorneys. Will handles a high volume of phones calls and interacts with high level clients in a professional and effective manner. Conducts legal research, drafting and reviews documents, prepares hearings and trials. Maintains complex and extremely detailed calendars and prioritizes meeting requests and related logistics. Prepares and distributes correspondence, memos, letters, reports or other documents as requested. Manages monthly invoices and arranges for payment. Responsible for general administrative duties (copying, filing, faxing, archiving), and ad-hoc projects. Orders supplies and keeps inventory well-stocked. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have excellent judgment; independent thinker and resourceful. Should have strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must have 1 year of experience in a law firm.
