Real Estate / Corporate Paralegal The candidate performs full paralegal duties and must be capable of managing and prioritizing a heavy caseload. Will provide support to a team of attorneys. Title and survey document review. Draft of title and survey objections and title response letters. Draft legal documents such as deeds, easements, covenants, restrictions and contract addendums. Correspondence with title officers, escrow and opposing counsel. Schedule and coordinate closings. Draft closing documents for real estate transactions. Draft summary review memo of leases and purchase and sales agreements. Managing extremely active calendar of appointments. Track and enter hourly billing. Communicate directly with clients, attorneys, personnel, experts and other legal professionals. Manage deadlines to ensure efficient case development. Provide case status updates to the team on a regular basis. Handle files from opening to closing. Prepare closing binders. Maintenance of entity records, including board/equity holder actions, ledgers, option plan administration. State and federal securities compliance. Transactional responsibilities: Due diligence; Management of data sites; Drafting transactional documents; Management of closings for financings and M&A transactions. Review, preparation and filing of UCC filings and handle UCC filing search requests in all states. Should have 5+ years of experience. Experience with Corporate Focus also a plus.
