Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative assistance to two resident Partners and one Associate and to assist them in providing a professional service to the client. Will be responsible for day to day office management duties. Coordinating and overseeing administrative duties in the office, and ensuring that the office operates efficiently and smoothly; Keeping the office well stocked with necessary equipment and ordering supplies when required; Liaising with the building management team on issues around facilities; Creating, amending, preparing legal documents - Typing speed 65 wpm; Supporting the business development activities of the office, including preparing marketing materials in conjunction with the Business Development Group and co-ordinating networking events hosted by the firm; Billing: Drafting narratives from Work In Progress Reports (Aderant Expert) and computing figures. Following up with relevant Fee Earners to ensure all time is captured. Processing signed off bills with Accounts; Preparing transaction bills to clients specifications; Administrative support to fee-earners as required, ensuring that documentation and correspondence are produced to a high standard, in accordance with house style and to tight deadlines; Dealing with telephone queries and ensuring that such queries are handled in a professional, courteous and prompt manner; Organising travel arrangements; Ensuring electronic and hard copy filing is up to date; Scanning documents to finalise post-closing process on projects; Drafting letters to clients for signing of documents; and Other secretarial and administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as requested. Should have 4+ year's relevant experience. Must have strong MS Office skills. 65+ wpm typing speed required. Must have Secretarial or Legal/Admin course qualification.
