Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate will be responsible for taking and defending depositions; Propounding and responding to written discovery; Court appearances; Legal research and writing; Drafting motions, orders, and a variety of pleadings and correspondence to clients, counsel, and the court; Analyzing and responding to discovery. Must have 2-3+ years of experience in civil litigation. Experience in federal court preferred. Should have outstanding legal research and writing skills, excellent communication, be a self-starter, and possess the ability to think on their feet and make strategically sound decisions. Should be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida. Licensed to practice law in New York and California is a plus. Licensed to practice law in the federal courts is a plus. Must be able to draft, review, and negotiate legal documents. Should have ability to perform research and effectively communicate the results. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Trial experience is a plus.
