Legal Secretary The candidate will be performing a variety of legal secretarial duties such as; scheduling hearings, preparing legal documents and correspondence, docketing cases, maintaining court dockets and diaries, and providing information and direction to others. Dealing with matters often of a confidential nature, including; litigation, government tort claims, workers compensation claims, personnel, labor relations, and other legal matters. Knowledge of legal, secretarial, and office practices is required. Should have: documentation skills; telephone skills; computer skills, specifically in Windows environment; and verbal & written communication skills. Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor. Also, client relationships, meeting planning and supply management skills are needed.
