Family Law Paralegal The candidate will draft dissolution and paternity pleadings with no supervision. Draft discovery requests, and respond to discovery requests. Prepare the attorney for Mediation, Deposition(s), Hearings, Pre-Trial, and Trial. Maintain professional appearance and rapport with Clients, other attorneys, and the Court. Must meet monthly billing quota. The candidate should have 3 years of experience that can begin working with minimal training. Should have the ability to analyze the family law case and have productive meetings with the attorney. This includes independently preparing mandatory disclosures, drafting pertinent financial documents, analyzing discovery for inaccuracies/discrepancies/omittance, and drafting additional discovery when needed. Manage a caseload of at least 50 cases. We need someone who is analytical, highly organized, detail-oriented and has great negotiation skills.
