Litigation Paralegal Candidate will work for litigation and collections practice. Must have: 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in a debt collection practice. Should also have experience scanning, coding, uploading, storing and printing of documents, as well as developing and implementing databases to manage, sort, index, analyze and summarize data. A strong understanding and working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure is required. Ability to perform legal research; draft standard motions; conduct asset searches and basic investigation; draft and issue subpoenas; draft, summarize and index discovery and documents; ability to review client contracts and invoices; familiarity with California Judcial Council Forms; and draft complaints. should have experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel. Experience with Timeslips, Hot Docs and Abacus helpful.
