Immigration Attorney The candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload consisting of removal matters, as well as family based immigration matters. Manage and supervise paralegals and attorneys. Should have admission to any State Bar, must be in good standing. Should have 3+ years of experience in immigration law. Should possess detailed knowledge of forms of relief such as Cancellation of Removal, Waivers of Inadmissibility, Asylum/Withholding and CAT before EOIR and be comfortable handling master and individual hearings in these cases. Should also have experience representing individuals before USCIS in Applications for Adjustment of Status and Naturalizations and preparing clients for interviews. Should have strong writing and analytical skills in the preparation of appeal briefs and motions to reconsider/reopen to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Administrative Appeals Office. Must possess excellent research, writing and communication skills, and must be prepared to work both independently and collaboratively on a variety of substantive matters. The candidate must feel comfortable representing clients in court. Should have fluency in Spanish/Portuguese a plus.
