Legal Secretary The candidate will format and proofread transcription that has been digitally transcribed and edit legal documents for correct grammar and punctuation. Schedule and coordinate depositions, medical examinations, and other court-designated hearings. Act as a liaison between client and attorney by furnishing and requesting information as needed to assist in the completion of administrative reports as required by the client or assigned by office management. Draft routine correspondence. Assist attorney with trial preparation, including preparation of trial exhibits. Must have 1-3 years of workers' compensation defense experience and EAMS filing preferred; a personable and friendly character; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word. Must be tech-savvy with the ability to learn and become proficient in using case management software; able to identify urgency and prioritize tasks accordingly.
