Seeking Senior Tax Certiorari Paralegal/Property Tax Assessment Appeals with 3+ years' experience with NY Tax Certiorari matters. The candidate will be responsible for property tax appeal cases filed in New York. Will be responsible for preparing, processing and tracking grievances and petitions; tracking/meeting filing and discovery deadlines, court hearings, and appraisal deadlines. will communicate with courts, boards, opposing counsel, appraisers and some clients. Will be expected to run the appeal matters with minimal direction on a daily basis. Paralegal Certification is required. Must have a very high level of detail-orientation and organizational skills as well as competency in analyzing data. Must be adept at reviewing an appeal matter and processing it through all stages.
