IP Litigation Paralegal The candidate responsibilities will include: Manage multiple active United States Federal court, PTAB, and ITC matters; Working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the rules governing practice before the ITC, particularly 19 CFR, and PTAB; Coordinate document retrieval, review, organization and electronic and/or hard copy production; Maintain case pleadings, correspondence, discovery and research related to Federal, PTAB, and ITC matters; Maintain document, transcript and work product databases; Assist with finalizing and appropriate service of briefs, motions, exhibits, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses; Organize and prepare exhibit lists, witness binders, demonstrative exhibits and/or privilege logs; Manage case calendar; Correspond with clients, counsel, court clerks, expert witnesses and/or vendors; Assist with trial site preparation and attend trials and hearings; Cite-check briefs and memoranda; Perform Lexis and Westlaw legal research; Perform PACER, Courtlink and ECF docket management tasks; Meet minimum 1650 hour annual billable requirement; Meet 25 hour annual Citizenship requirement; Supervise temporary staff, as needed; Coordinate work with outside document/litigation vendors, including adherence to strict deadline. BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred. Paralegal certificate desirable. Should have 3+ years of Patent litigation experience. Large law firm experience required. Must have strong knowledge of litigation support databases, i.e., Concordance, Relativity, and LiveNote, as well as Microsoft software products. Must have familiarity in working with United States Federal courts, International Trade Commission (ITC) and Patent and Trial Board (PTAB) with direct trial support experience. Should have familiarity with litigation and hearings at federal courts, ITC, and PTAB.
