Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work on complex toxic tort lawsuits on behalf of the great working class and families. Will assist the firm's attorneys with all tasks that arise between initial client intake and the ultimate resolution of a case. Specific tasks include: Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and discovery (requests and responses), Filing documents electronically, Ensuring effective service of documents (electronic and hard copies), Submitting and following up on requests for medical records, Social Security records, and personnel records, Composing summaries of records, Maintaining records of trial and case deadlines, Performing research, Proofreading documents. The candidate should have 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar legal environment. Must have Bachelor's Degree. Should have ability to work collaboratively with all members of the office team, as well as with outside co-counsel.
