Employment Litigation Attorney Duties: Perform routine litigation tasks such as legal research, writing briefs/motions, interviewing witnesses, conducting investigations, drafting/responding to discovery, taking/defending depositions, mediating, negotiating, conducting arbitrations and trials as a first or second chair.. Handle administrative charges, agency investigations/audits, and attorney demand letters as needed. Formulate effective and efficient resolution strategies to meet business objectives. Proactively develop and drive employment litigation strategy. Collaborate with company stakeholders in connection with litigation-related risk mitigation strategy and remediation. Manage litigation and disputes, negotiate resolutions to conflicts and prepare settlement agreements. Represent the company and its affiliates or employees with litigation issues and/or in a court of law. Other duties as required based on business and legal needs. Qualifications: JD Degree with 2+ years of plaintiff experience. 2+ years of Experience with oversight of outside counsel preferred. Trail experience is a plus. Ability to be fully engaged in the business and to communicate at all levels. Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law and state and federal litigation procedures. Interpersonal, Organizational, and Time management skills. Excellent analytical, research, verbal and written communication skills.
