Associate Attorney The candidate will do music and entertainment transactional matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements in the music industry (recording, publishing, touring, festival, distribution, songwriter, featured artist, live performance, sponsorship and endorsement, merchandising, branding and licensing, catalog acquisitions, and management agreements). Should have working knowledge of and familiarity with contract law, business practices, and legal trends as they relate to music and entertainment industries. Additional experience in other areas of film, television, podcasts, employment law, corporate transactions, copyright, trademark, NFTs, licensing, joint venture agreements, and usage rights matters is a plus. Should have 1+ years of music transactional experience. Should demonstrated interest in and enthusiasm for music industry issues and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed. Strong attention to detail; excellent legal research and analytical skills are essential. Bar membership in good standing in California (although will consider qualified applicants with memberships in good standing in New York) is required. Strong organization skills are needed. Excellent ability to work independently is needed. Exception communication skills are essential. Sensitivity to deadlines and ability to multi-task is required. Should demonstrated ability to work as a team.
