Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate will work closely with a team whose practice focuses on government contract law, with a concentration in government contract litigation representing a number of government agencies and departments, both state and federal. Offers the opportunity to work with a growing practice area and Partners who have significant trial experience as lead counsel in government contract matters. Will handle all facets of litigation from inception through trial and responsibilities will include the preparation of pleadings, researching, drafting and opposing motions related to pleadings and discovery, appearing at court conferences, review/summarize discovery responses, preparation of discovery responses and objections and attending depositions. Qualifications: Virginia bar admission required. 1 3 years of Federal Government Contracts litigation experience. Experience with False Claims Act is a plus. Superior communication and organizational skills. Confidence to work directly with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Desire to continuously develop trial and litigation skills while providing excellent client service.
