The mid-size Orange County office of this vigorous firm specializes in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance, land use and eminent domain law, and commercial leasing. The firm boasts an extremely dynamic group of attorneys; the firm’s partnership is both young (most are in their 30’s and 40’s) and talented. Associates are treated very well and people are generally quite happy working here (A recent candidate offered to give one of our recruiters a Harley-Davidson after he received an offer). Retention is incredibly high; in fact, approximately two-thirds of the associates who joined the firm in the last five years are still at the firm. Despite the firm’s size, salaries are only slightly (5-10%) below market.
Transactional Legal Secretary The candidate should have 2+ years of experience as a transactional legal secretary, which includes, but not limited to, formatting real estate documents with Microsoft Word and MacPac, preparation of correspondence, client billing, expense reports, client interface, scheduling meetings and conferences, travel arrangements, answering phones, file maintenance and a wide variety of clerical duties. Should have strong administrative and organizational skills, with an eye for detail, excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills, a self-starter who is pro-active, resourceful and has the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
