Family Law Attorney The candidate will be responsible for all areas of case management: discovery, motions, hearings, and trials. Will handle status conferences, temporary hearings, uncontested final hearings and trials in family law cases. Handle pre-litigation, written discovery, meditations and depositions in litigation matters. Must have 2-3 years of family law or litigation experience. Should be proficient in performing legal research and writing. Must be proficient in drafting pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, as well as correspondence, memorandum, and opinion letters. Must be well-versed in the rules of evidence, introducing evidence, and civil procedure. Experience with taking and defending depositions a plus. Must already be a member of the State Bar of Georgia and Northern District of Georgia. Proficiency with WestLawNext is required. Spanish or Creole skills a plus.
