Chinese/ Spanish-Speaking Bilingual Junior Attorney Duties: Support all aspects of our fast-paced business. Research and drafting discovery requests and responses, motions, and other forms of correspondence to courts, interviewing clients in Chinese and/or Spanish, appearing before federal and state court, and preparing for and conducting depositions. Qualifications: Admission to the NY Federal Bar is a must. (Note: Recent law graduates who have passed the Bar but have not yet been admitted should apply only once they are admitted to the Bar and to the district court as well.). Must be bilingual attorneys with a demonstrated interest in economic justice/ poverty alleviation. Fluency in Chinese/ Spanish is a requirement.
