Associate Attorney Duties: Will deal with third parties, including social service providers, medical providers and government officials. Will be expected to meet with clients detained at the Adelanto Detention Center in Adelanto, California and provide representation before the Adelanto Immigration Court. Will also represent detained and non-detained class members before the Los Angeles Immigration Court. May also involve the legal representation of other non-Franco firm clients, as necessary. Qualifications: JD Degree and active Bar license (California preferred). Experience working with immigrants as well as a fundamental knowledge of immigration law and court procedures. Must exhibit strong writing skills, excellent communication skills and client interviewing abilities as well as the ability to work under pressure. Must be fluent in Spanish. Must be willing and able to travel to immigration detention centers. Estimated start date is ASAP.
