Privacy & Data Security Attorney Candidate must have expertise in vendor, and business partner agreements, as well as HIPAA business associate agreements and cross-border data transfer agreements. Partner closely with and advise business teams (M&A, IP, Start Ups, Banking, etc.) on privacy and data protection-related legal matters. Evaluate the impact of U.S. and international legislative, regulatory, legal developments and industry guidelines involving privacy and security, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance. Transactional experience preferred, advising clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and commercial law. Should have a demonstrated interest in privacy and data security, strong academic credentials, and excellent writing skills.
